Controlled Release Mechanism
OptimismAnd here, I didn't slack on purpose or anything, but like, as soon as school got out, my aunt called and wanted me to come visit her in Colorado. And once she told me she and my cousin had been in a car accident, I couldn't very well say no! So I got a ticket right there and flew in very early Tuesday morning, the 12th of May. And I just got back Monday.
So... I learned things while I was there, like what a catheter is and how much mobility is limited when a person has fractured their pelvis. A lot! Yeah, what I did the whole time was mostly keep Candice (that's my cousin) company while she was bed-ridden, I fixed her a few meals and cleaned up the things that accumulated around her. But she got a lot better; when I left she was capable of getting out of bed by herself and navigating the whole downstairs with her walker, and had no trouble get up and down stairs with her crutches, as long as someone was there to watch her and hold one crutch. Only one was necessary for the ascension, but both to actually go anywhere.
So! It's not like I totally just abandoned you guys... or did I? I'm kinda laughing at myself, because I was gone four weeks and there was only one comment on the journal I made last. I thought it was funny; I know I'm not the only person with a life... or just doesn't feel like it or even know what to say. But I haven't drawn much, so I don't warrant many visits, honestly. I have several nice ideas for some drawings, but I know they won't look as great as they do in my head, so it remains to be seen if anything will go up.
On a side note, there are 210 deviations waiting for me, and I'm wondering if I'll actually look at them. *sigh* I need to either get my butt in gear, or abandon this site and stop stringing along the few people who hope to see what mediocre pencil-scratch I might loosely call art and display for general viewing.

I do at least write entertaining journals, eh? I have been gone much longer yes. Many months. I just wanted to make sure it didn't seem like I was slacking! I really did have a reason to be gone. But I are back! And I'll try to be good, really I will.
